• This is our idea of one of the better version of the Golden circle that is offered in Iceland, We will start the tour by showing you Hveragerdi the capital of hotsprings, the town is positioned on an active volcanic zone and earthquakes are frequent thanks to the tectonic movements that rumble below.
  Our local guide will tell you the story of the town and show you hotsprings that bursted through the ground in the last earthquake that happened on May 29th 2008, with a magnitude of 6,2 on the richter scale.
  We will also show you how we can use the heat from the ground, by cooking an egg in a boiling hotspring and eat bread that has been baked in the ground for 24 hours. After Hveragerdi and a nice refreshment we will visit Geysir and witness Strokkur bursting the boiling hot water high up in the air.
  From Geysir we will work our way to Gullfoss (Golden waterfall) where we will explore this magnificent waterfall, standing on the edge of the waterfall and feel the power of the glacial water and perhaps the mist on your face.
  There after we will visit Thingvellir our national park where the oldest parliament in the world is, the guide will hike with you through the area and point out some interesting stories from the area and his ancestors, the vikings.

• Hveragerði and the nearest surroundings is a beautiful place with magnificent landscape. The town is positioned on an active volcanic zone and earthquakes are frequent thanks to the tectonic movements that rumble below. On May 29th 2008 an earthquake with a magnitude of 6,3 on the richter scale hit the town. Amongst the changes was a whole new geothermal area which came to life just outside the town.

   

  In this tour we will show you Hveragerði with a fun and easy walk guided by a true local guide, who grew up on the area and will be able to point out interesting facts and the geological history of the area and show you how the people have been living with the hotpsrings for the past 100 year. We will show you a new geothermal area where you witness a range of hot springs from small gurgling ones to vibrant super heated pools of water and steam. We will boil some eggs in one of the many hot springs and eat bread that has been baked in a hot spring for 24 hours.

• We will teach you all you need to know so you can play ice hockey and have fun. ice hockey is a great activity for big or small groups to create a fun memories. We supply you with everything you need to ice hockey, the whole icehockey equipment, sticks, skates and teaching you the basic technique in skating and handling the puck. We take a lot of pictures during the game and send them to you after the game. The winning team receives an award and the MVP (Most valuable player) gets a special price. There are good dressing room and shower facilities for teams to use after the game.

In the end of the cave we will stop for a lunch and offer you a chance to taste some of the old Icelandic traditional food as well as telling you few stories about the trolls that are believed to use the caves as their habitats

  Brautin er smækkuð mynd af Ratleik og er sett upp á afmörkuðu svæði t.d í lystigarðinum í Hveragerði, innandyra eða eftir óskum.

Midnight Mountain bath hike/Miðnæturferð

• A fun and an exciting hike tour. We start in the afternoon when it is still day light by hiking along gorgeous hotspring areas with geothermal water rising from the ground.

  We stop to boil eggs in one of the many hotsprings & warm up with a cup of hot chocolate. Then as the darkness is coming over we take a dip into a geothermal river and enjoy the sounds of nature in peaceful mountain environment and enjoy an Icelandic dark winter night while looking at stars and if we are lucky we might get the northern lights dancing overhead. 

  After the bath we turn on our headlights and hike back in the dark and the guide will tell you Icelandic stories about the trolls and the elves that live in the area. It is a great experience that creates memories that are hard to forget.

  North Atlantic adventure, surf on Iceland´s south coast, a 10 km long strip with great waves and black sandy beaches, a fantastic chilling experience, battle the waves and watch the curious seals swim by.
